Versatility Dance Festival 2023

Calling all dance companies and dance filmmakers to Boulder, CO and Los Angeles, CA in 2026!

VDF presents the best in dance companies and dance filmmakers from around the country and beyond.

The purpose is to provide audiences with a wonderful unique arts experience while providing dance companies with more performance/screening opportunities and networking with other companies nationwide.

GUIDELINES

Only one application is needed per dance piece. Companies may submit multiple applications for different pieces.
Links provided must be of the work intended to be performed. Rehearsal footage is acceptable.
Companies may submit to perform work between 5–10 minutes in length.
There will be a performance fee of $140. 20% discount for local companies. 20% for both locations.
Each selected company will receive 30 minutes of tech time on the performance day, as well as photos and a recording of their performance.

DEADLINES
Early-bird deadline to apply: August 31, 2025 ($10 application fee)
Regular deadline to apply: September 30, 2025 ($20 application fee)

Applicants will be notified by October 31, 2025.
