  • The League Coaches Association (LCA) is working with the game's stakeholders to support an inclusive and diverse environment for all professionals working within football. It is important for the LCA to understand the membership in order to adapt our services and programmes in the future.

    Please complete the following personal fields, noting that this self-identification process is optional, and you are welcome to answer as many or as few questions as you wish. 

    N.B. The personal information you provide is strictly confidential, however the association-wide data may be used by the LCA in consultation with other game stakeholders, including the Premier League, FA, EFL, WSL Football and PFA. 

  • LCA MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

  • Individuals are entitled to join the LCA if they meet one of the following criteria:

    1. Currently or recently employed in the domestic professional game in a Football
      Technical Role

    2. Currently or recently employed in an overseas national association or overseas
      professional league in a Football Technical Role with a minimum valid English FA UEFA B licence or Advanced Principles of Talent Identification qualification

    3. Employed full-time in National League, National League North / South, FA Women’s National League Premier Divisions (North / South) in a Football Technical Role with a minimum valid English FA UEFA B licence or Advanced Principles of Talent Identification qualification

    4. Such other persons identified by the LCA Board, as persons who can contribute to the aims and objectives of the Association, so long as such persons fulfil the technical conditions above.
  • KEY TERMINOLOGY:

    • Currently or recently employed includes anyone employed within the past five years

    • Domestic professional game includes all current clubs in the Premier League, EFL, WSL Football, and professional game partners

    • Football technical role includes coaching, scouting, analysis, and strategic roles at first team and academy levels

    • Overseas National Association includes all FIFA Member Associations

    • Overseas Professional League includes all global professional leagues & competitions recognised by FIFA Member Associations
  • SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENTS

  • Annual Subscription: £200

    Membership Term: 1st July 2025 - 30th June 2026 (in line with the domestic football season)

    Pro-rata Rate: New members will pay a pro-rata rate upon joining the LCA, to the 30th June, which will be communicated upon approval of application.

    New members joining between 1st April - 30th June will be asked to pay the pro-rata rate plus the following year subscription.

    PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS WILL FOLLOW SHORTLY VIA EMAIL.

  • Monthly Subscription: £16.67

    Membership Term: 1st July - 30th June (in line with the domestic football season)

    New members joining after 1st April will be asked to commit to membership until the end of the following season.

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    Term:

    • LCA monthly membership runs for a fixed term of 1st July – 30th June (12 months)

    • By registering for LCA monthly membership, members agree to pay regular
      instalments through to the end of the LCA Annual Membership Term

    Services:

    • Members who register for LCA monthly membership may have full access to LCA services from the date of first instalment

    Renewal:

    • Recurring payments will be initiated for an indefinite period of time, ensuring
      automatic renewal for members, season to season.

    • The LCA will provide a minimum of one months’ notice ahead of renewal that the membership will roll-on into the following season

    Cancellation Policy:

    • LCA Members are able to provide notice to cancel their membership on or before the 30th June of each LCA Annual Membership Term

    • Access to services will be provided up to 30th June (the end of their
      membership term), providing membership subscription payment has been
      received

    Breach of Trust: 

    The LCA will consider the following scenarios as breach of trust.

    • Cancellation of recurring payment before the end of LCA Annual Membership Term (30th June)

    • Failure to settle any failed payments due to changes in payment information (e.g. expired card)

    In the event of a breach of trust, the LCA may take the following action.

    • Require the remaining amount of subscription in the LCA annual membership term to be paid in full / attribute the remaining amount to a member’s future membership subscription

    • Withhold access to monthly membership in future, offering only annual
      membership

    • Withhold access to services

    • Refuse future membership applications
