  • Job Title: Landscaper / Landscaping Technician

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Landscaper to join our team. The Landscaper is responsible for creating and maintaining outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, parks, and other outdoor environments. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors in all weather conditions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing.
    • Install landscaping features including plants, trees, sod, hardscaping (e.g., patios, walkways), and irrigation systems.
    • Operate a variety of hand tools and power equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and tillers.
    • Maintain clean and safe work areas, removing debris and waste materials.
    • Follow landscape plans and designs to meet client specifications.
    • Identify and report plant health issues such as pests or diseases.
    • Communicate with clients or supervisors to understand project requirements and provide updates.
    • Assist with snow removal or seasonal cleanup tasks when necessary.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience is an asset.
    • Knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and irrigation systems is a plus.
    • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
    • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
    • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
    • Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job duties.

    Work Enviornment:

    This position involves outdoor work, including exposure to sun, rain, wind, and other weather elements. Work may involve heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and use of potentially noisy or vibrating equipment.
