Ancillary Classes for Children

There are many supplementary classes that are part of the CMS membership. These are conducted either before or after the regular Sunday Bala Vihar session. Please indicate if your children will be interested in participating in the offered ancillary classes.
Swaranjali

Swaranjali is the musical wing of Chinmaya Mission. Students will learn bhajans in the praise of different deities throughout the year often tying in with our festivals.

Storadhārā

Stotradhārā is a self-paced program that encourages children to memorize and correctly chant sacred strotrams.

Gīta Chanting

This year, we will be collectively learning Chapter 6 of Srimad Bhagavad Gita. Supplementary classes are offered to focus on pronunciation and fluency.

Study Groups

The focus of the Study Group is on the study, logical reflection and application of the teachings of the Vedantic scriptures in daily life. CMS offers a number of study groups throughout the week, both in person and online over Zoom. Please see our offerings at www.chinmayaseattle.org for more information.
