This year, we honor our 73rd First Citizen of Virginia Beach, Delceno C. Miles, for her visionary leadership, civic service, and commitment to inclusive growth.

In recognition of other dynamic Virginia Beach leaders, the Virginia Beach Jaycees are also honoring two other highly accomplished citizens:
- W. Taylor Franklin will be honored with the RISE Award for his tremendous contributions to regional business and philanthropy.
- William "Billy" Almond will receive the CREED Award, reflecting his unwavering commitment to the principles that guide the Virginia Beach Jaycees: faith, brotherhood, justice, and service to humanity.
This year’s event will be a fun and relaxed sports-themed celebration.

Forget black tie—wear your favorite jersey and come ready for games, dancing, celebration, and community spirit.

Please bring a nonperishable food donation for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.

Let’s celebrate the champions—aka “homegrown heroes”—who lead, serve, and inspire our community!

VB Jaycees Signature Annual Events
- The First Citizen Scholarship Award – a new endowment to support top Jaycee leaders obtaining advanced leadership training at Regent University School of Organizational Leadership.
- The East Coast Surfing Championships (ECSC) – the longest continuously running surf competition in the world.
- BBQ for the Brave – a fundraiser supporting military families and the Sacred Flame of Hope at Naval Air Station Oceana.
- The Christmas Shopping Tour – an annual program that brings holiday joy to children and families in need.
