Burringbar Collective offers ‘rent-a-rack’ services for pre-loved clothing as well as selected new clothing from local Brands/Designers. We welcome items in all styles and sizes including children’s, mens and women’s. Shoes, Bags and Accessories are also welcome.
Getting Started
At Burringbar Collective we offer weekly rack rentals. Each rental week begins on a Sunday morning (from 8am) and running through to Saturday afternoon (before 5pm). The Barn opens it’s doors at 8am on the weekend and closes at 5pm. Please bring all your items as early as possible to maximize your selling time. Any unsold items are to be collected on the Saturday of your last rental week by close of business (5pm) to ensure the racks are free for our next renters to set up on Sunday morning.

You will be notified of your sales at the end of the week. Top ups will be added to your rack to maximize your profit. You are welcome to do this when suits you also.

- Please use your full name in the transaction description.
- Your booking is not confirmed until payment and booking form are received.
- Your sales profit will be paid into your nominated bank account within 7 business days of the end of your rental period.
How to prepare your items
- Wash, iron/steam items to ensure they’re at their most presentable/desirable.
- Tag each item with the following: Clear Initials on the back of the tag (this is how we keep track of what’s yours). Neat legible price, size and brief description on the front of your tag. Eg, “Witchery Green Dress, Size M, $20”. Please ensure tags are securely attached so they stay on for the duration of your rental.
- Create an Item List for your own record as well as ours, this ensures all sales are well recorded and any unsold items are accounted for at the end of your Rental. The description on the list should correspond with the description on your tag for easy identification (template within this document). Please email us (burringbarcollective@gmail.com) your list prior to rental commencement or bring a physical copy with you on the day.
- On the morning of your rental start date bring all items in neatly tagged and ready to hang *all coat hangers are provided.
- For the best results we recommend quality well known brands & in season pieces. Avoid Large coats in summer for example.
Terms and Conditions
- Burringbar Collective reserves the right to remove any stained or damaged items from the rack where necessary.
- Burringbar Collective may use pictures/videos of your items to promote on our social media accounts to boost sales.
- Whilst the utmost care will be taken to look after your items including CCTV coverage; Burringbar Collective will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.
- Cancellation 7 business days prior to commencement will receive a full refund. Any less than 7 business days notice will not be refunded; however you may use your payment as credit to reschedule. Failure to turn up on Sunday without notice will be considered as cancellation and your rack will be forfeited.
- Failure to collect your items by 5pm on the Saturday will result in a $10 pack up fee to cover our staff removing and folding the items, plus a $10 holding fee for every additional open day we have to store your items until collected. This will be automatically deducted from your final payout.
- Due to our storage space a maximum hold of 14 business days is in place. After which items will be donated to charity.
- Burringbar Collective is not responsible if you provide incorrect details for your desired bank account. Please ensure you’ve triple checked all your information on your rental agreement before sending.
- Rack Fees are non-refundable in the event that you don’t make sales.
- By signing the Rental Agreement Form, you agree with our terms and conditions.
- Burringbar Collective reserves the right to change our terms and conditions at any time.
- Sales are taken through 'the Barn' tills and can be made anytime during their open hours.
