Release of Liability
1. I understand that the practice of Shin Shin Toitsu (Ki-Aikido) and/or Ki Training, as physical recreational activity undertaken in participation with other persons, poses a risk of physical injury, illness, including communicable disease such as COVID-19, or other harm. I expressly assume all risk and responsibility for all such injury, illness and harm arising as the result of my participation in the Kobori Sensei seminar at Denver Ki-Aikido
2. I certify I am in good health and suffer from no condition that would pose a threat to my own health, welfare and safety during the practice of Ki Aikido, or to other students or instructors training in herein said activity.
3. I understand that I am responsible for all personal property I choose to bring to the seminar and I expressly assume all risk of loss or damage to such personal property.
4. On behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, agents, personal representatives, dependents and all others who may act on my behalf, I forever hold harmless and unconditionally release International Ki Society, Midland Ki Federation, Chandler Resources, LLC dba Denver Ki-Aikido, and Garman Industries, LLC and all their instructors, participants, and officer’s from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and courses of action whatsoever arising from any and all damage, loss, injury or other harm to myself or my property on account of my participation and/or transportation connecting with herein said activity, whether such loss, damage, injury or harm is caused by my own conduct or that of another person.
5. I agree to fully indemnify International Ki Society, Midland Ki Federation, Chandler Resources, LLC dba Denver Ki-Aikido, and Garman Industries, LLC for any damage, injury, loss or other harm caused by me or another acting on my behalf, through negligence or otherwise, in connection with herein said activity.
6. The terms of this Registration Form and Release of Liability may not be modified without the written consent of Denver Ki-Aikido and are governed by and subject to the laws of the state of Colorado.
7. I certify that I have thoroughly read and understand all terms of this Registration Form and Release of Liability. I further agree that if any term is adjudicated to be unenforceable under applicable law, the remainder of the terms shall not be affected and shall remain enforceable and binding on me.
