    Hello Players, welcome to TVC SEASON 5 Men's and Women's Division. The tournament starts from 9:00am-7:00pm, located at Woodbridge Sports Dome on Saturday, July 5, 2025. We are excited to have you back on the court! See you soon!

  • Rules and Guidelines

  • All volleyball rules other than those outlined here is according to Volleyball Canada Rulebook 2024-2025

     This is a HIGH INTERMEDIATE Mens and Womens Tournament 

    Skill Guidelines:

    All members of your team must be able to consistently and reliably perform all aspects of the game ( serving, passing, hitting, etc.). Players are competent, and able to run higher level techniques, strategies and game mechanics. Players should have advanced decision-making skills and have the ability to adjust strategies on the fly. 

    • Ex- varsity and ex-club players are allowed 
    • 9 man players are allowed 
    • Pro and semi pro (play at the provincial or national level) are not allowed 
    • All players must be 18+

    TEAM COMPOSITION:

    • Teams are limited to a roster of 8 players. All players are required to sign the waiver in order to compete.
    • Liberos are permitted - they must be designated at the start of the game are required to notify the game official. Liberos are NOT allowed to serve (VC Rulebook - Rule 19.3.1.3, 2024).

    PLAYING ACTIONS & FOOT FAULTS:

    • Foot faults will be observed. Players are not permitted to step into the court when serving.
    • Double contact after the team's first touch will be observed.

    TIME OUTS:

    • Round Robin: One, 30 second, time out per set.
    • Playoffs: One, 30 second, time out per set.

    SPORTSMANSHIP:

    • Please be respectful to all personnel attending and officiating the tournament. This includes referees, volunteers, event staff and facility workers.
    • Cheer positively and respect your opponents. Unsportsmanlike conduct, such as taunting and verbal abuse will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal of individuals or teams.
    • During round robin matches, in the event of a discrepancy on a call, re-serve the point. OVA officials will be provided for the playoffs.

  • $400 Per Team

    Early Bird $360 per team before June 29, 2025

    Your team will only be confirmed once we have recieved your payment. You will recieve a confirmation that your team is fully registered through the email you have provided.

    Cancellation Policy: We provide a 50% refund for cancellations after we have recieve your entry fees and confirmed your team, up to 2 weeks before the tournament. No refunds will be provided for cancellations within 1 week of the tournament (June 30-July 5) or a dismissal due to disorderly conduct or being unable to follow skill requirements on the day of the tournament.
