UTAH REAL FC GUIDELINES
Utah Real FC Financial Aid Program Statement
Utah Real FC is committed to offering a competitive soccer experience to all interested youth, regardless of financial circumstances. To support this goal, we have established a need-based Financial Aid Program for families who may not otherwise be able to afford club fees. A limited amount of financial aid is available each year to qualifying applicants.
Application Process & Eligibility
Required Documentation:
Applicants must submit the following with their Financial Aid Application:
Previous year’s tax return
Proof of free or reduced lunch (if applicable)
Priority Consideration:
Preference is given to players who qualify for free or reduced lunch through their school district.
Players who do not meet this criterion may still apply and will be considered based on demonstrated need.
Annual Application:
Financial Aid is awarded for one year only. Families must reapply each year for continued assistance.
Player & Family Commitment
Full-Year Club Commitment:
Financial Aid recipients must commit to Utah Real FC for a full year.
If a player leaves the club before the year ends, the entire yearly fee becomes the responsibility of the family.
No releases to other clubs will be granted until outstanding fees are paid.
Player Expectations:
Players are expected to fully participate in all practices, training sessions, and games.
If an absence is necessary, parents must notify the coach in advance with a valid reason.
For returning applicants, coaches may be contacted to verify prior year attendance and commitment.
Financial Responsibility
Even with Financial Aid, families are still responsible for the following costs:
UYSA fees
State league fees
Uniform fees
Team tournament and team fees
Indoor league or training fees
Travel expenses (if applicable)
