MPCD sells Grass and Wildflower seed year-round. Seed is available for pickup in Granby, Kremmling, and Frisco. AFTER you order, we will work with you to arrange pickup.

Why did my grass not grow?

Please keep in mind that, while seed may be purchased at any time throughout the year, there are very specific seeding windows in which you should sow the seed into the ground. Seeding outside the seeding windows will decrease your success rate.

Sales Tax Calculations

Sales tax rates for seed depend on the location of pickup. We have three main pickup locations:

Granby (just outside of town - unincorporated Grand County): 4.2%

Kremmling (NRCS Office): 8.2%

Frisco (County commons - unincorporated Summit County): 6.375%

The calculations below show the Total above with added Sales Tax. This is what the total invoice* will be after your order is confirmed.

*Tax exempt entities will not pay sales tax.
