Actors, I welcome you to Write Your Own Performance! This is the working title of a new concept in Theatre Groups.  The concept is the following:  Actors meet and sketch out a story line. Once an outline is completed, actors then write their own dialogue. Then rehearsal actually begins. I imagine the whole process to be about 90 days from start to finished performance. It’s a very fresh and exciting new concept in Theater. I need actors with a healthy sense of humor, all ages, genders and ethnicities. LGBTQ+ friendly!  Imagination and creativity are a must!

Please prepare a 2 minute Comedy monologue and a 2 minute dramatic monologue. If you would like to sing , prepare a track that is 16 bars in length. It must be an MP3 or a link. Drop it in our portal or bring a way of amplifying it. 

Kieran Sala, Artistic Director is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a directing emphasis. Performer/writer/voice artist in Whammo Lab, an improv Comedy Group in the Bay area. Performance Artist in the autobiographical Fountain Pen of Youth.  Also worked with Desert Drolleries, a comedy group that performed at Palm Canyon Theatre. New to the Coachella Valley, he has appeared most recently in Legally Blonde and Tootsie at Desert Theatre Works in Indio.
