I am a balanced trainer. This means I use a lot of positive reinforcement with aversives as needed. My main tool of choice is a slip lead. collar as I find it assists with efficient communication with the dog, my method puts the dog in complete control over leash pressure, the only way to hurt a dog with this tool is through incorrect use. Would you be comfortable with me teaching yourself and your dog how to use this tool?
