JOB DESCRIPTION
Warehouse Receiving and Delivery Clerk
The Warehouse Receiving and Delivery Clerk is responsible for efficiently handling incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying and recording deliveries, organizing warehouse inventory, and ensuring timely dispatch of goods. The role supports overall warehouse operations to maintain accuracy, safety, and productivity.
KEY RESPONSILBITIES:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists.
- Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies; report issues to supervisors.
- Record and document incoming goods in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company procedures.
- Load delivery vehicles and ensure timely dispatch.
- Store receivied items in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle cycle counts or audits.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and comliant with safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer literacy and experince with warehouse management systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full-time position
- Shift is 5AM-1PM, Monday through Friday
- Warehouse environment with potential exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Requries physical stamina and ability to follow safety protocols.
