JOB DESCRIPTION
Retail and Administrative Manager
We are seeking a resourceful and organized Retail and Administrative Coordinator to oversee retail operations while providing essential administrative support to leadership. This hybrid role combines customer-facing retail management with behind-the-scenes administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive multitasker with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
KEY RESPONSILBITIES:
Store Management Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
- Lead and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent service.
- Manage inventory, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising to company standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Train, schedule, and supervise team members; conduct performance check-ins.
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.
Administrative Assistant Duties
- Provide administrative support to upper management, including calendar scheduling, email correspondence, and document preparation.
- Prepare reports, track expenses, and assist with budgeting and purchasing.
- Maintain accurate records of store performance, payroll, and employee files.
- Assist in onboarding new hires and coordinating HR-related tasks.
- Order office supplies, manage vendor communication, and support event coordination.
- Ensure timely filing, data entry, and organization of store-related documents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Retail experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Previous administrative or office support experience highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
- Excellent time management, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full-time position with flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- May require standing for extended periods and occassional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
