JOB DESCRIPTION
Assistant Store Manager
We are seeking an energetic, efficient, and experienced individual who creates a positive environment for both customers and co-workers. Our store manager is someone that thrives on our employee's success. Some of the things we are looking for are:
- Outgoing, sales goal-driven personality.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate clearly with staff, customers, and management.
- Willing to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods of time, handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures, and climb ladders as needed.
KEY RESPONSILBITIES:
- Ensure each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly and inviting environment.
- Master Point-Of-Sale system.
- Process, accept, and transfer merchandise shipments between the different locations.
- Effectively display merchandise on the sales floor.
- Make sure the appearance of the store is clean and orderly.
- Maintain awareness of promotions and coupons.
- Effectively train new employees.
- Suggest up-sales when appropriate.
- Delegate tasks and supervise sales associates, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three to five years of retail experience is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- In person, full-time position with flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- May require standing for extended periods and occassional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
