Enrollment and Registration:
• All students must complete the enrollment and registration process before attending classes.
• A $35 registration fee is applied to all new students. This fee guarantees the student’s spot will be held during vacation breaks or temporary absences.
• Registration fees and tuition payments must be made before lessons begin. Tuition invoices will be sent via email at the end of each month for the following month’s lessons.
• Students are required to provide accurate personal information and update it as necessary.
Attendance:
• Regular attendance is crucial for progress in music education.
• Students are expected to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled lessons.
• In case of absence, students should notify the school and their instructor at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule. If cancellation is NOT notified within 24 hours of the scheduled time, lessons will still be charged. Exclude emergency.
• In case of the instructor’s cancellation, a substitute teacher will be provided.
Conduct:
• Respectful behavior towards instructors, staff, and fellow students is mandatory.
• Any form of disruptive behavior or disrespect will not be tolerated and will notify the parents/guardians.
• Students are expected to adhere to the school's rules and guidelines at all times.
Communication:
• To protect the privacy and safety of both students and instructors, students and parents are not permitted to contact teachers directly.
• All communication — including scheduling, lesson concerns, or other questions — must go through the school administration.
• Open communication between parents, students, and the school is encouraged. Any concerns regarding lessons, progress, or scheduling should be addressed promptly with the school office.
Facilities and Equipment:
• Students are expected to treat school facilities and equipment with care and respect.
• Any damage caused by negligence or misconduct may result in financial responsibility for repairs or replacements.
Withdrawal and Refunds:
• Students may withdraw from classes with one month's advance notice to the school administration.
• All payments are final, credits will be given to the immediate family. No refund for any lessons.
Photo & Video Release:
• S&S Harmony may take photos or videos of students during lessons, recital, and other school-related events. These materialsmay be used for promotional and marketing purposes, including on our website, social media platforms, and printedmaterials. By enrolling, parents and students grant S&S Harmony permission to use such media, unless a written request issubmitted to opt out.
Safety and Security:
• The safety and security of students and staff are of utmost importance. Cameras are placed throughout the music school for safety and security measures.
Policy Updates:
• The school reserves the right to update or modify its policies.
• Students and parents will be notified of any policy changes promptly.
Acknowledgment:
• By enrolling in classes at S&S Harmony, students and parents acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the school's policies and guidelines.
