  • 2025 Townsville Schools Esports Cup - Registration Form

    Teacher to complete form by Thursday, 19th June before 5:00pm AEST - associated player and media agreement to be completed by students/parents by Thursday, 19th June 5:00pm AEST - otherwise a copy of the media agreement will be available on site during the event.
  • This form is for the 2025 Townsville Schools Esports Cup held in partnership with the City of Townsville and the Australian Esports League.

    This event is to be held at St Anthony's Catholic College on Friday, 20th June 2025.

    The event will run from 9:00am - 3:00pm.

    Please select the competitions below you wish to register students for.

  • High School Competitions Overview

    • Minecraft CTF Competition
      • 8 teams of 5 students will face off in a 'Capture the Flag' competition using Minecraft: Education Edition.
      • Maximum of 1 team per school, with up to 8 spots available.
    • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Competition
      • Students will compete in a double-elimination bracket playing 1 v 1, with highest placing students progressing forward.
      • Maximum of 8 students per school, capped at 64 total students in competition.
    • EA Sports FC 25 Competition
      • Students will compete in pools using clubs mode progressing through each round, with highest scoring students progressing forward.
      • Maximum of 4 students per school, capped at 32 total students in competition.
    • Just Dance Competition
      • Students will dance in heats progressing through each round, with highest scoring students progressing forward.
      • Each round and heat will have specific songs - this will be shared with teachers prior to the event.
      • Maximum of 4 students per school, capped at 32 total students in competition.
  • Primary School Competitions Overview

    • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Competition
      • Students will compete in racing pools playing a grand prix, with highest placing students progressing forward.
      • Maximum of 8 students per school, capped at 64 total students in competition.
    • Minecraft Build Competition
      • Teams of 2 students will work together to recreate a well-known Townsville landmark.
      • Maximum of 2 team's per school, with up to 16 spots available.
    • Just Dance Competition
      • Students will dance in heats progressing through each round, with highest scoring students progressing forward.
      • Each round and heat will have specific songs - this will be shared with teachers prior to the event.
      • Maximum of 4 students per school, capped at 32 total students in competition.
