The Gender Responsive Agriculture Systems Policy Fellowship (GRASP), implemented by African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) is committed to fostering a professional, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment for all fellows, mentors, mentees, and partners. AWARD and its partners do not tolerate any form of sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment, bullying or non-sexual abuse of power perpetrated by its employees and stakeholders against any individual regardless of age, gender, sexuality, disability, religion or ethnic origin. This code of conduct outlines the expectations to maintain these values.

- Participate in all fellowship activities as a pre-requisite to my successful completion of the program. I will communicate to AWARD promptly in the event of emergencies or circumstances that would hinder my participation
- Demonstrate integrity and professional conduct during all fellowship engagements
- Foster a safe, bias-free environment that values diversity, inclusion, and constructive dialogue
- Maintain confidentiality for all information and personal data shared within the fellowship, following AWARD’s privacy guidelines
- Acknowledge all sources and contributions to fellowship activities and seek permission from AWARD before sharing fellowship materials externally
- Ensure my supervisor and the institutions I am involved in are aware of and endorse my participation in the AAWCLA Fellowship
