These workshops focus on adapting and performing literature. Through a thematic exploration of the texts, students will come to understand the text in a new light by adapting and performing the work. From character analysis to acting techniques, STC's Teaching Artist will help students bring the story to the stage. Examples of texts may include: Chopin's "Desiree's Baby", Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Hwang's Yellowface, Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None, Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God, Morrison's Beloved, etc
