Join us for an inspiring full day introduction to the Art of the Bridlehorse, featuring execptional clinicians: Stefanie Travers, Marty Gardner and Heather Kornemann.
The day will begin with horsemanship foundations led by Stefanie Travers, focusing on balance, feel, communication, and preparing horses mentally and physically for the work ahead. Riders will explore softness, timing, body control, and the subtle communication that forms the basis of effective ranch horsemanship.
From there, Heather Kornemann will guide participants through practical stockmanship and herd work, discussing cattle behavior, herd dynamics, rider positioning, and how a crew works together quietly and efficiently to support cattle movement and sorting.
The afternoon will transition into practical ranch roping applications with Marty Gardner, focusing on proper setup, positioning, supporting the horse through rope work, and maintaining thoughtful stockmanship throughout higher-pressure situations. Marty will share practical insights developed through years of working cattle and applying ranch roping in real-world settings.
Throughout the clinic, riders can expect:
