Vaccinations Required

The health of the dogs in our care is our number one priority. To that end, we require that all dogs using any Woo Woo's Pet Adventure daycare service be currently vaccinated against rabies, distemper and bordetella. That commonly means that you need the following vaccinations administered by a veterinarian:

• Rabies (mandatory)
• DHPP (mandatory)
• Bordetella (mandatory)
• Influenza (mandatory)
• Leptospirosis (mandatory)

 

Bordetella Vaccine – Mandatory

This vaccine is intended to prevent the spread of bacteria that can lead to what is commonly known as kennel cough. Please note that there are many strands of "kennel cough", and the vaccine only covers some of those strands, therefore it is possible for your dog to contract symptoms even if he is vaccinated. Also, the bacteria is airborne and can travel across 3-4 cityblocks, thus it is nearly impossible to pinpoint the source of the exposure. By MA Department of Health it is recommended that this vaccine be administered annually as the vaccine is updated regularly for new strands of the bacteria, much like with the flu vaccine for humans. Please contact your veterinarian for required certificate of rabies vaccination; DHPP(distemper, hepatitis, parainfuenza and parvovirus) certificates; annual bordetella certificates; spay or neuter certificates for dogs 6 month or older; we also require the use of monthly flea and tick prevention medication (February to November). Your veterinarian can email copies of these certificates directly to us.

Sick Dogs

All dogs using our services must be healthy as we care for a number of dogs. We will not admit any dog that we believe, at our sole discretion, to be a risk to the other dogs in our care. It is your responsibility as a parent to notify us of any health related issues affecting your dog so that we can make an informed determination about how to best care for your dog. Customers that do not inform us in a timely manner of any health issues, knowingly bring their dog and/or to us while he or she is sick, or do not make all efforts possible to remove their dog from our facility once determined to be a risk by us, will be subject to those customers may not be allowed to use our services again.

MEDICAL RELEASE FORM this is a required form for all the participants receiving our services at Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure. First and foremost the safety and well being of your pet(s) is of the highest importance. Insuring that your pet remains safe and well cared for is our first responsibility and as such we take it very seriously. We do our best to have our pet parents screen for pre-existing health conditions but some factors may be beyond our control. In the event that a medical emergency arises while a pet is at our facility or participating in a service that we provide it is imperative that we are immediately able to get them medical treatment at the closest available facility. We will call ahead to the veterinary offices in closest proximity geographically to us to insure they can handle the emergency present. Your pet will be rushed to the closest available facility for treatment and you will be notified. We notify the owner after we have secured a medical treatment center for the animal to avoid delays that may be caused by emotion on the part of the owner. Our goal is to get your pet medical attention as quickly as humanly possible, and any distractions may interfere with that process. For that reason, it is requirements to have our pet parents sign this form.

I understand that in the event of a medical emergency that Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure, at its sole discretion, deems to need the immediate attention of a licensed veterinarian, I authorize Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure to seek medical attention at the closest available veterinary facility.

I further agree that I am financially responsible for any medical treatment my pet(s) receives as a result of a medical emergency while attending services provided by Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure.

 1. I further understand that Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure has relied upon my representation that my dog is in good health and has not injured or shown aggression or threatening behavior to any person or dog in admitting my dog for services at their facility. 

2. I further understand that their owners, staff, partners and volunteers, will not be liable, financially or otherwise, for injuries to my dog, me or any property of mine while my dog is participating in services provided by Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure.  I hereby release Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure of any liability of any kind arising from my dog’s participation in any and all services provided by Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure.

3. I further understand and agree that any problems with my dog, behavioral, medical or otherwise will be treated as deemed best by staff of Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure in their sole discretion, and in what they view as the best interest of the animal. I understand that I assume full financial responsibility and all liability for any and all expenses involved in regards to the behavior and health of my dog. 

4. I further understand that there are risks and benefits associated with group socialization of dogs. I agree that the benefits outweigh the risks and that I accept the risk. I desire a socialized environment for my dog while attending services provided by Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure and while in their care. I understand that while the socialization and play is closely and carefully monitored by Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure staff to prevent injury, it is still possible that during the course of normal play my dog may receive minor nicks and scratches from roughhousing with other dogs. Any injuries to my dog will be pointed out by staff upon pick-up. 

5. I understand by allowing my dog to participate in services offered by Woo Woo's Pet Adventure I hereby agree to allow Woo Woo's Pet Adventure to take photographs or use images of my pet in print form or otherwise for publication and/or promotion.

6. I further understand that I am solely responsible, financially or otherwise, for any harm or damage caused by my dog while my dog is attending any services provided by Woo Woo's Pet Adventure.

7. I understand that if my dog is not picked up on time I hereby authorize Woo Woo's Pet Adventure to take whatever action is deemed necessary for the continuing care of my dog. I will pay Woo Woo's Pet Adventure the cost of any such continuing care upon demand by Woo Woo's Pet Adventure.

8. Entry Policy: Pets must be walked prior to entering the building and need to be leashed at all times.

9. If you are late picking up your dog from daycare, an additional fee will be added to accommodate the time spent caring for and keeping your pet comfortable until you arrive. Any dog not picked up by 7:00 PM will incur an additional full day charge of $40 per dog. This fee is applied to compensate staff for extended care beyond regular operating hours.

10. Cancellation Notice: If your dog can't make it to daycare please give us 24 hour notice. No-shows or cancellations made after the stated cancellation policy timeframe will incur a fee of $40 for a full day or $29 for a half day, based on the reserved schedule. Clients enrolled in daycare packages will be charged in accordance with their package rate.

11. I acknowledge and understand that all payments made for doggy daycare services are non-refundable. Refunds will only be considered in the event of my dog’s illness (with veterinary documentation) or in the unfortunate event of my dog’s passing. By signing below, I agree to this and all above policies.

Please note that by using any of our services you acknowledge that you are the legal owner of the pet and that you have read the above Terms of Service for Using Our Services and our daycare policy and agree to be bound by all of its terms, rules and conditions. This will help both you and Woo Woo's Pet Adventure ensure that your dog has the best experience possible. No refunds.

 

Daycare Package Policies
 

• 5-day and 10-day packages must be used within 90 days from the date of purchase.
• 20-day and 30-day packages must be used within 1 year from the date of purchase.
• Daycare packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Daycare packages may only be used for daycare services and cannot be applied toward
  any other services offered by Woo Woo's Pet Adventure.
• Credit card payments are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.
• Cash and check payments are accepted at the package price with no additional
  processing fee.
• A $35 fee will be charged for each returned/bounced check.
