Program Description

The Marva Woods Memorial Mock Trial is a youth civic education program presented by The Legal Kid Foundation. Students participate in guided mock trial preparation and a culminating courtroom experience designed to build legal literacy, critical thinking, confidence, and leadership.

This program honors the legacy of Marva Woods, a champion for youth access to legal education and experiential learning.

By completing this form, I grant permission for my child to:

- Participate in mock trial preparation activities facilitated by The Legal Kid Foundation with support from law students and volunteers; and

- Attend and participate in the Marva Woods Memorial Mock Trial on February 26, 2026, including arrival at 5:15 PM and participation beginning at 6:00 PM.

Mock Trial Event (After School Hours)

I give permission for my child to attend and participate in the Marva Woods Memorial Mock Trial on February 26, 2026, including arrival at 5:15 PM and participation beginning at 6:00 PM.I understand that this portion of the program occurs after school hours and that my child will be supervised by TLKF staff, law students, and volunteers during the event.
