As a condition of rental, the renter shall provide proof of current Commercial General Liability insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence before use of the Love Community Center Meeting Room facilities. The renter shall submit an acceptable Certificate of Insurance to RUSHCO no later than three business days prior to the scheduled event or rental date.

The Certificate of Insurance shall name RUSHCO Community Development, Inc., its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and affiliated facility operations as Additional Insureds for the dates and activities covered by the rental. The renter’s insurance shall be primary to any coverage maintained by RUSHCO and shall apply to claims arising out of the renter’s event, activities, guests, vendors, contractors, or use of the premises.

Failure to provide an acceptable Certificate of Insurance by the deadline established by RUSHCO may result in cancellation of the rental without waiver of any applicable fees, deposits, or other obligations under this Agreement.

RUSHCO reserves the right to require additional coverage, including but not limited to liquor liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, or vendor insurance, when the nature of the rental, attendance, food service, alcohol service, contractors, or other risk factors make such coverage appropriate.
