                • Contract Terms

                  The undersigned Exhibitor hereby contracts with the Greater Cedar Rapids Housing & Building Association (GCRHBA) for use of exhibit space available according to official floor plan to be used for an exhibit at the 2026 Cedar Rapids Home Show (Show) to be held on the dates of February 27, 28, and March 1, 2026, at Hawkeye Downs Expo Center, Cedar Rapids, IA. Exhibitor contracts for selected exhibit space above for the dates and purpose set out herein. In consideration of GCRHBA providing said space at the Show, Exhibitor promises to pay GCRHBA the total sum, non-refundable (no exceptions). Exhibit space pricing is subject to review and change each year. Electric space, tables and chairs are not provided in the cost of exhibit space. Floor plans are subject to any necessary modifications without notice. In the event the Exhibitor breaches any condition required by this contract, including but not limited to non-payment of any sum due to GCRHBA, GCRHBA may, at its own option, choose to keep any deposit paid by the Exhibitor as liquidated damages in partial or complete satisfaction of GCRHBA's claim for damages. GCRHBA reserves at its own option the right to pursue any additional legal or equitable remedy arising as a result of Exhibitor's breach of this contract. Exhibitor shall be responsible for costs and reasonable attorney fees necessary to resolve any breach committed by the Exhibitor. GCRHBA assumes no responsibility for calling back in the following year any Exhibitor who moves out prior to the official close of the Show, or who fails to pay GCRHBA for Exhibitor's space, or who otherwise commits any other breach of this contract. In entering into this contract, Exhibitor agrees to comply with and be bound by all rules and regulations of the Show (see attached document). Exhibitor also agrees to be bound by any additional laws, rules or regulations required by the site where the above Show is located. Additionally, no canned or live music may be played by the Exhibitor's anywhere on the Show floor. Exhibitor is solely responsible for any loss, damage, or claim arising as a result of Exhibitor's property being displayed or used for exhibition on the Show premises, and when permitted by law, shall hold GCRHBA and the Show harmless for any claim therefor. Additionally, Exhibitor acknowledges that GCRHBA and the above-named Show are in no way responsible for Exhibitor's personal property on Show premises. Exhibitor acknowledges that this contract is not assignable by the Exhibitor without the express written permission of GCRHBA.
