As the Renter, you confirm that you have inspected the equipment and confirm its condition. If the equipment is not in decent working condition then you MUST provide detail on any existing damage, defects, or wear and tear PRIOR to taking the equipment offsite. By accepting the equipment, the Renter acknowledges that it is in good working condition and free of damage, except as otherwise noted in the report.
As the Renter, you agree to operate and maintain the equipment in a careful and proper manner, in accordance with any operating instructions provided. The Renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive wear caused by misuse, negligence or failure to follow instructions.
Upon return, the equipment shall be inspected by the Owner. The Renter agrees to return the equipment in the same condition it was in at the start of the rental period, excluding normal wear and tear. Any damage, missing parts, or loss beyond normal wear and tear will be documented and the Renter may be held liable for the cost of repair, replacement, or cleaning as deemed necessary by the Owner.
A final inspection will be conducted upon return. If discrepancies are found between the condition at the time of return and the original condition report, the Renter shall be notified within 1 business day and invoiced for any necessary repairs or replacements. Failure to return the equipment in acceptable condition may result in additional fees or legal action
