The purpose of the WA Basketball Hall of Fame (HOF) is to enrich the heritage of basketball in Western Australia by recognising on-court personnel, including players, coaches, referees, and technical officials who have made outstanding and impactful contributions to the game.

Basketball has a long and rich history in WA and has significantly contributed to the social and sporting fabric of the State. Enshrining "Basketball's Best" preserves and promotes this heritage for the broader WA community.
