MATTIS Companies thanks you for considering us for your residential housing needs. Each person 18 years of age or older who intends to reside in the dwelling unit must complete and sign a separate Rental Application. A photo ID may be requested as part of the application process.
MATTIS Companies makes every effort to process applications promptly. Processing may take longer if we are unable to promptly verify information with employers, landlords, property managers, or other references. After this application is submitted, Applicant understands that MATTIS Companies will send a separate DocuSign authorization form for employment/income verification and rental history verification. Applicant agrees to complete that authorization and reasonably cooperate with the verification process.
MATTIS Companies cannot guarantee that a unit will remain available while an application is being processed. To be fair and transparent to all applicants, units are generally offered to the first approved applicant(s) who complete all required steps, including timely responses, completion of verification requirements, signing the lease, and paying the first month’s rent. If one applicant’s process is delayed, another applicant may complete the process first and secure the unit.
If approved, the first month’s rent is due when the lease is signed. The security deposit is due before possession is delivered and before keys are released. If the lease is signed well in advance of move-in, MATTIS Companies may allow the security deposit to be paid closer to the move-in date, but no later than when keys are received for move-in.
Applicant certifies that all information provided in this Rental Application is true, complete, and correct. False, incomplete, or misleading information may result in rejection of the application or other remedies available under the lease and applicable law.
