  • 2025-2026 Confidential Scholarship Application- Short Season Programs

  • The Tucson Girls Chorus provides financial assistance/scholarships based on need. Decisions pertaining to to financial assistance/scholarships are made at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee without regard to race, color, religion, or ethnic background.

    Tucson Girls Chorus accepts ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account) payments, but we are unable to provide an additional scholarship through the organization for families who choose to use this method of payment. If you will be using ESA funds, please do not continue this application.

     

     This application is for singers participating in our short season programs:

    • Tutti Choir
    • Pop Acapella Group
    • Tunes for Tots
    • Alumnae Choir

    To complete this application, you need:

     

     

    1. If employed: the last two paycheck stubs from each employed parent/guardian.

    If unemployed or on SSI:

    A statement from the appropriate agency, stating the last date the benefit was paid.

    OR

    A letter from the former employer stating the last day of employment.

    OR

    A letter from the employer stating a reduction in hours and/or wages.

     

    2. Brief statement of need (written explanation of why you need assistance).

    Once you have gathered the above documentation, it takes approximately 10 minutes to complete the application.

     Your application will not be considered without the above documentation.

    If the singer is living in a split household and the financial support is divided equally, TGC requires financial information from both parents. If unable to get the non-custodial parents’ financial information, submit a letter of special circumstances on the next page to help explain the situation.
