Sep 7-Masterclass: LORA DIMITROVA Distinguished Bulgarian concert pianist, educator, and Steinway Artist Lora Dimitrova will be offering each participant a 45-minute, one-to-one masterclass. Only three (3) active participants will be chosen. Includes free ticket to the evening recital. For participants under 18, it also includes a free day pass for ONE accompanying adult. Participants get FREE PASS to attend as audience the evening recital and as observer of all workshops on the series.

Sep 13- PianoDay (led by the co-Artistic Directors) 4:30pm-7:30pmDesigned for intermediate to advanced pianists (Grades 4-8, but still of interest to more advanced pianists), the topics to be workshopped will cover sight-reading, memorising on the fly, basics of technique and an introduction to keyboard harmony. The level of the activities will be tailored to that of the participants. The day will end with a student recital open to the public.

Sep 20- Improvisation Workshop: EDWARD CHILVERSExciting Young Steinway Artist, pianist-composer Edward Chilvers will deliver a workshop on improvisation and polyrhythms. Minimum ability level: Grade 6 piano and Grade 5 theory (basic understanding of chords and tonality). Suitable for GCSE/A level in Music students and Senior Conservatoire students alike. Limited number of participants. Under 18s MUST be accompanied by an adult (no charge- as above). Participants get a free ticket to the evening recital with E. Chilvers.

Sep 28- Masterclass AND Workshop with Elena RiuElena Riu, Steinway Artist, Trinity-Laban professor of piano, adjudicator of international competitions and author will offer The Embodied Performer @Elena Riu Workshop 'From Fear to Courage', an introduction to Somatic Movement and Coherent Breath for performers. This option includes both the workshop and an opportunity to work with the pianist in masterclass. This choice includes FREE PASS to attend Riu's evening recital and as observer of all workshops on the series.

Oct 4- Masterclass with the Ivory Duo Piano EnsembleConvivium Records artists and co-artistic Directors of the PianoPlus Series, Natalie Tsaldarakis and Panayotis Archontides will guide participants in masterclass focusing on solo piano from the late 19th c. onwards and on piano duets. Participants in pre-formed duets will share the cost with their partner. Each participant/duet will receive 45-minute masterclass. This choice includes FREE PASS to the duo's evening recital and as observer of all workshops on the series.

Oct 12- Workshop: Early Keyboard Instruments with Duncan HoneybourneBritish music expert, concert pianist and early keyboard music specialist Duncan Honeybourne will offer a workshop on virginal and clavichord. This will be followed by an evening lecture-recital on the instruments (no extra cost).
