Young Storytellers Workshops

Does your child have a story they’ve always dreamed of telling?

Maybe it’s an epic sci-fi adventure or a magical fantasy world full of wonder. Whatever their imagination holds, this program is the perfect place to bring it to life!

No experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new. These workshops are designed especially for students between 4th - 8th grade.

These workshops will be held at the Bell Tech Center - 4357 Gage Avenue, Bell CA, 90201.

These workshops will be afterschool on Tuesdays from 4:00PM to 5:00PM.

Young Storytellers' Workshops

Has your child ever wondered how their favorite movies, videos, and games are made? It all starts with a story—and with the Young Storytellers, they'll create one of their very own!

Over nine fun, one-hour workshops, students will team up with other young creators and learn from professional Teaching Artists to build characters, imagine exciting worlds, and craft an original story.

Once they have finished crafting their tale, they'll get to walk the red carpet and see professional actors perform their storries in front of an audience at a BIG SHOW!

I understand that I will receive an email confirming that my application has been received, but this email is only an acknowledgment of receipt and does not indicate acceptance. I understand that I will receive a separate notification if my child is accepted into the program.

If my child is accepted into the program, I understand that all required enrollment paperwork and documentation must be submitted within 3–4 business days of receiving the acceptance notification. I understand that failure to submit the required paperwork within this timeframe may result in my child losing their spot in the program, and the spot may be offered to another applicant.
