I understand and agree that if my pet requires emergency medical treatment while in the care of Fur The Night Pet Services, I am fully responsible for all associated veterinary costs. I agree to render payment directly to the veterinarian or veterinary facility at the time of service, or as otherwise arranged by the provider. I also understand that Fur The Night Pet Services is not financially liable for any emergency or routine veterinary care provided to my pet.*

This agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between the undersigned Pet Owner (“Client”) and Fur The Night Pet Services (“Service Provider”).

1. Pet Care Services
The Client hereby authorizes Fur The Night Pet Services to enter their home to provide the agreed-upon services, which may include:
- In-home overnight pet sitting
- Dog walking and enrichment
- Low-stress cat care
- Medication administration
- Additional home services such as errands, grocery shopping, and plant care

2. Assumption of Risk
The Client understands and agrees that pet sitting and dog walking involve potential risks to their pet(s), including injury, illness, or escape, despite reasonable precautions. The Client accepts all risks associated with these services.

3. Home Access & Security
The Client agrees to provide accurate access instructions (keys, codes, alarms, etc.) and acknowledges that Fur The Night Pet Services will not be held liable for damages resulting from faulty equipment, unclear instructions, or third-party access.

4. Aggressive or Dangerous Pets
The Client affirms that their pet(s) have not shown any aggressive or dangerous behaviors unless disclosed in writing. The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if a pet poses a threat to the safety of the sitter or others.

5. Liability Release
To the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law, the Client waives and releases Fur The Night Pet Services and its representatives from any and all liability for:
- Loss, injury, or death of pet(s)
- Injury to third parties caused by the Client’s pet(s)
- Damage to the Client’s property or belongings

6. Indemnification
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Fur The Night Pet Services from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to the actions of their pet(s) or property access.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to a scheduled service may incur a fee. Details of the cancellation policy will be provided upon booking.

8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
