If our current workshop offerings are beyond your budget, what price range would allow you to join us for a workshop experience (including materials)?
Under $1000
$1,000-$1,500
Based in your previous answer, if we were to offer a lower-cost workshop option (but you still take your board home with you), this would likely mean a shortened experience. Which parts of the process would you be willing to either not see or have to complete at home?
As long as I can see the inside of the board, put my own top planks on, and do the shaping, I’d be okay not seeing the initial steps.
I’d want to build the board from start to finish, but could shape the board at home with some help from a manual or instruction videos.
I do not care about any of the building steps—I’d be fine with a shaping class alone.
How far are you willing to travel for a board building workshop?
Less than 1 hour. I want to be able to drive home at night.
1–3 hours
3–6 hours. I’m fine finding local accommodations.
I’m happy to fly for the right experience
I’d only choose a local or hosted option if you ever teach classes in my area.
Would you prefer a different workshop format? (Select all that apply)
Shorter (1–2 days)
Weekend-only formats
Fully guided digital/online course with real time instruction
DIY kit with video support
Current format works for me (3-Day Sick Day or 5-Day Camp Grain)
Hosted in a different location (please suggest below)

What would make a Grain workshop a ‘must-do’ to you?

Very confident – I do it often
Somewhat confident – I’ve built a few things
Not confident – I’ve never built anything
I’d need a lot of guidance
