  • Verification of Identity (VOI) and AML/CTF Compliance Requirements

As part of the conveyancing process, and in line with the mandatory AML/CTF regulations taking effect from 1 July, we're legally required to carry out Verification of Identity (VOI) and Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) compliance checks for all buyers and sellers. These obligations arise under Australian legislation and are not discretionary.

We use InfoTrack VOI, an online platform that allows clients to complete the verification process remotely, with the report sent directly to our office once finished.

Please note that the fees for VOI and AML/CTF compliance checks are separate from our agreed professional fees and disbursements, and will be charged to the client as part of the transaction

  • Anti-Money Laundering & Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) Declaration
