Competitive Speech

With enough interest and support, we may offer competitive speech in the hour and a half prior to club time (from 1:00 - 2:30, during the JV class).

Are you aware of the requirement to attend club a minimum of three times per semester?
Are there special circumstances which may prevent you from fulfilling that commitment?
Do you have any particular gifts, talents or experience which would be beneficial to know? When we host a tournament, I try to fill volunteer positions with people whose skills are best suited for that role. So, some examples for that are hospitality, administrative, photography, etc. Also, any gifts, interests or skills which would benefit our club meetings, such as prior experience in speech, drama or debate, being a "news junkie," or even teaching?

Tuition and Club Fees

You will be invoiced for your tuition and/or club fees. Stoa club fees are $300 per family and payment is not due until Sept. 30. JV class has a $40 supply fee (non-refundable) due once invoiced. Tuition is $300 for the year. The multi-student discount on tuition is 10%. This applies if you have a student in Stoa club and JV class; the discount will be applied to the JV tuition.
