✧ Extension Care & Maintenance Policy ✧
Welcome to the world of luxury extensions! Proper care is essential to protect your investment, ensure longevity, and maintain the health of your natural hair. Please follow the guidelines below for the best results:
⭑ Daily Care: Brushing
Use a soft-bristle or extension-safe detangling brush. Hold the base of your weft or attachment while brushing to avoid tension.
Brush 2–3 times daily, starting at the ends and working up to the root.
Always detangle before bed, before and after washing, and before workouts or long periods of wind exposure.
Failure to do so may cause matting and hairloss
Recommended Hair Brush: Sheila Stotts Untangle Brush or Mixed Natural Nylon and Boar bristle Brush
⭑ Washing & Styling
Use salon-quality, extension-safe, sulfate-free and non-protein-heavy products. Avoid anything with alcohol or high salt content.
Wash 1–2 times per week or as recommended. Apply shampoo in a downward motion—never rub.
Condition from mid-lengths down and avoid roots to prevent slippage.
Always dry your extensions 100% before sleeping. Avoid letting them air-dry near the attachment points.
Use a heat protectant. Style on medium heat—avoid prolonged high heat on bonds or wefts.
Products recommended: ROZ Hair
⭑ Chemical Services (Color / Perms)
All color or chemical services must be performed by a licensed professional—ideally your extension stylist.
Extensions should never be bleached or chemically altered at home. Doing so voids any warranty.
I am not responsible for extensions that are damaged or compromised by outside chemical services.
⭑ Cutting
Extensions are cut dry after installation to blend with your natural hair and desired shape.
Please do not attempt to cut them yourself—schedule a follow-up if your shape needs refinement.
⭑ Brushing Technique
Section hair into 2–4 parts for easier control.
Start brushing at the ends and slowly work upward.
Be gentle near the root—tugging can cause premature shedding or matting.
⭑ Swimming, Beach & Sunscreen
Before swimming, thoroughly wet your hair with fresh water and apply a leave-in conditioner. Braid hair in a low, loose braid.
Avoid submerging your extensions in saltwater or chlorine for long periods. Rinse immediately afterward.
Avoid aerosol or chemical sunscreens on your hair. They can discolor or dry out the extensions—use a mineral-based sunscreen only.
UV exposure can fade both your natural hair and extensions. Use a UV protectant spray or wear a hat for prolonged sun exposure.
⭑ Sleeping
Always sleep with your hair in a low braid, ponytail, or loose bun to prevent tangles.
Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction and frizz.
Never sleep with wet hair.
⭑ Aftercare & Maintenance Program
Move-up maintenance is required every 6–10 weeks depending on the method and hair growth.
I will advise on your personalized maintenance schedule during your consultation.
Failure to keep up with maintenance may cause damage to your natural hair and void the warranty.
✧ 1-Week Adjustment Policy / Warranty Notice
Your satisfaction is important! I offer a one-time complimentary adjustment within the first 7 days of your initial installation, should you experience any discomfort or shifting.
This policy does not cover issues resulting from improper care, failure to follow guidelines, or services performed elsewhere.
Hair warranty is valid for 3–6 months (depending on the brand used) and only if the care instructions are followed and maintenance is performed on schedule.
✧ Final Note
As a luxury stylist, I prioritize the integrity of your hair and the quality of your overall experience. I reserve the right to decline or discontinue extension services at my professional discretion. Not every method or transformation is the right fit for every client—and that’s okay. My goal is to provide honest, elevated, and intentional services that align with both your goals and my standards.
