AudioActive Room to Rant Logo
  • Room to Rant - a space to let it all out through rap

Room to Rant is open to young men aged 16-25, including trans, non-binary and gender-diverse people. It’s about finding community and feeling heard, all through music. You don’t need to be a rapper or have any experience, just be up for giving it a go.

Sessions run in Brighton on a Wednesday and Worthing on a Thursday.

If you're not with the young person while completing the form, you'll need the following details for them:

YP contact details: name, DOB, email address, phone number, home address.
Emergency contact: name, email address, phone number, home address.

If there are any questions within the Equality & Diversity sections that you're not sure how the young person would answer, you can choose 'prefer not to say'.

  • About things that affect your wellbeing

It's good for us to have a picture of the types of difficulties you might be facing, and what support you've accessed (if any).

If you'd rather not go into it right now, that's fine - you can leave it blank and hit the next button. You'll have Room to Rant about it later 😉

  • GP details

It's useful for us to have this info in case you'd like us to contact your GP about further support.

If you'd rather not give us these details you can leave it blank and hit the next button.

  • Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (young person)

We at AudioActive want to make sure everyone, from any background, has equal access to our projects and feels included. Asking diversity questions helps us to make sure we're doing everything we can to achieve this.

We understand that some of this information is quite personal, so if you feel uncomfortable answering any of the questions in this section, you can choose 'prefer not to answer'.

  • What do we mean by neurodiversity?

Everyone's brain is unique - there's no "correct" way for it work. Neurodiversity celebrates the wide range of ways that people see and respond to the world; including those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia and learning differences.
