2025 Falcons Cheerleading Rules Logo
  • 1. For practices or squad events/meetings, please be modest in your clothing. Please do not show bra straps or cleavage. No short-shorts, or extremely tight, or revealing clothing. No jean shorts. Yoga pants, leggings, and biker shorts are permitted as long as thick enough not to see through. Black or Navy compression shorts must always be worn under your uniform and practice shorts. Not wearing compression shorts will result in not being able to participate in practice and/or the game. This is at the Coach's Discretion. 2. Maintain a ladylike position & posture while in uniform and representing the Falcons. 3. To ensure safety for the rest of the squad during stunts, jewelry may not be worn, and fingernails must be cut short. 4. Hair needs to be of natural color; no color dyes. Natural, "normal" highlights are okay, but roots must match the rest of your hair. Hair should always be pulled back away from the face for practice and games. 5. No gum at practices or games for safety during stunts.

    1. Absences, if you miss practice and/or are not practicing at home and do not know the routines, you may not participate in the dances, cheers, or stunts at that week's game. This is at your coach's discretion. Please make every effort to attend all practices, clinics, and camps. You are also expected to work on your own to master the dances, cheers, and stunts. 2. All Varsity and Middle School girls are expected to wear a Falcon's t-shirt to all practices. 3. All Cheerleaders are to wear compression shorts under their practice shorts. Not wearing compression shorts will result in not being able to practice. 4. Arrive early and ready to practice according to the dress code. Please use the restroom before practice begins. 5. If you don't like the grass, please bring a yoga mat or beach towel to sit on. 6. Varsity and Middle school must bring 1 gallon of water; Dainties need 1/2 gallon of water. If you do not have water, you cannot practice. Please come to practice hydrated and prepared.

    1. Please use the restroom before a game or at halftime, unless approved by a coach. 2. You must be on time. Our pre-game warm-up time is crucial to our stunt groups. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be sitting out the 1st quarter. If you miss stunt warm-ups, you and your stunt group may not be able to do stunts the whole game. This again is up to the discretion of your coach. 3. Be kind to the visiting/opposing team, cheerleaders, fans, and facilities. 4. Hair must be pulled back in a ponytail(s), braid(s), or bun at games with the appropriate bow. 5. No fingernail polish at games unless it is a clear coat or a French tip. Do not write on your hands, arms, or legs at games. 6. Please limit conversations with parents, friends, or the crowd while cheering for the team. 7. Smile & Have Fun!

  • 1. Appropriate behavior is expected between cheerleaders and football players. Treat them as your brothers in Christ. No public display of affection: this would include hugs, hand-holding, etc., at any Falcon function. 2. No gossip, slander, cursing, or inappropriate language toward or about each other or anyone in the Falcons organization. 3. While we cannot monitor social media, please remember that you represent Christ, and your behavior on social media reflects on the Falcons Organization. Please make sure what you post is kind and in line with the Falcons' core values, especially if you are posting while in uniform. 4. Be Encouraging & Kind! 5. Cell phones or other electronic devices may not be used during practices or games unless approved by a coach or in an emergency. 6. Do your best to be early to all practices and games. If you are going to be late for any reason, please text your Head Coach AND Cheer Director, Stephanie Myska 512.739.7988. 7. If you are having problems with another cheerleader, please bring it to her first, then to a coach, not another cheerleader.

    1. For absences due to illness, please notify the Cheer Director, Stephanie Myska (512.739.7988) AND your Head Coach ASAP. 2. If a cheerleader is injured, she is still required to attend games in uniform and attend practice to learn and support the squad, even if she is unable to cheer herself.
