Dear Concert and Bass Ensemble Choristers & Families,
We are excited to confirm that as part of the Port(al) project, we will be going on tour to the PS21 Performing Arts Centre in Chatham, NY. The performance will be a modified version of Port(al) as part of PS21's summer 2025 season programming.
As you may know, tours and out-of-town overnights/residences are large investments for any performing ensemble both artistically and financially. We will ask families to contribute towards accommodation, meals, and travel costs of these trips. It is the Brooklyn Youth Chorus' policy that no chorister be denied participation due to finances, so please let us know if you require financial assistance. Similarly, we ask families to consider making an additional donation to help offset these costs for others if they are able and inclined to do so. Your financial contribution to this trip will in no way impact your child’s invitation to participate. Please contact Elspeth or Christa if you have any further questions about the tour fee.

The fee for this trip will be $200
