DETAILS:
• Team captains will be notified of their game time the day before the tournament.
• The $100 entry fee must be included with a completed registration form. The entry fee helps cover the cost of equipment. Checks should be made out to Pufferbilly Days. The first 32 team forms received will be entered in the tournament. Those received after the 32 slots are filled will be returned.
• The entire team must sign a participant waiver at check in of the tournament before play may begin.
• Preferred deadline for entries it Wednesday before tournament day. • Teams will be co-ed, no less than 3 of either sex per team.
• Each player can play on ONE TEAM ONLY.
• Maximum of ten players on the court at one time. No substitutions will be allowed at anytime during the tournament. Once a player subs out they are done.
• Teams must be ready to play when nae is called or else yo must forfeit.
• Everyone must wear hard soled, secure shoes. No sandals or water socks.
• Each match will be consist of the best 2 out of 3 games to 9 points.
• Normal volleyball rules will be observed: 3 hits per side, standard court size, observe boundaries as marked on the court. Must serve to score.
• First serve will be determined by a coin toss. Loser will serve next game.
• All players must rotate through every position on the court.
• Server must serve from behind the back line, but still in the water.
• No touching the net while ball is in play.
• Absolutely no mud throwing – if you are caught throwing mud, you will be immediately ejected.
• Good sportsmanlike conduct is expected. Excessive arguing or hostility will result in immediate ejection, this includes spectators.
• Only refs are allowed within 15 feet of pits during play.
• Each losing team will have to provide a ref for the next match.
