JUNIOR COMPANY II REQUIREMENTS: Must be a minimum of 7 years on October 12, 2026. Dancers should have at least 1 year of formal dance experience

Required Classes:
1. Junior Company II Modern | Friday 4:15 - 5:00 pm
2. Junior Company II Rehearsal | Friday 5:00- 6:00 pm
3. Other technique class of appropriate level
JUNIOR COMPANY I REQUIREMENTS: Must be a minimum of 9 years on October 12, 2026. Dancers should have at least 1 year of formal dance experience

Required Classes:

1. Junior Company II Modern | Friday 4:45 - 5:30 pm

2. Junior Company II Rehearsal | Friday 5:30 - 6:30 pm

3. Other technique class of appropriate level

Junior Company Mock-Auditions will take place on Friday September 9 between 4 - 6 pm

AUDITION FORMAT:

The Mark Morris Dance Center is committed to creating a joyful and safe environment for all auditionees. The Junior company mock-audition will be structured like a modern class in The School; dancers should expect to experience a seated floor warm-up, exercises in the center like plies and tendus, as well as improvisation.

I understand that the Junior Company program requires a full academic year commitment. If my child is selected for Junior Company, they will be expected to be present in their appropriate technique classes and rehearsals between September 2026 and June 2027, in addition to end of year performances during the weekend of June 4-6.
