    The Family Movie Night event provides a place for our community to gather and celebrate as a community.

    1. Participant set-up begins at 5:00 p.m. Please have your set-up completed by 5:50 p.m.

    2. We request participants not wear/sell/speak profanity during the event. No use or sale of alcohol or any other kinds of substances with the possibility of a mood altering consequence, whether legal or illegal is allowed on Waialua United Church of Christ (hereafter referred to as Waialua UCC) property. These will not be tolerated.

    3. No abusive language, language that involves swear/inappropriate words or phrases, or abusive and violent actions during the event and while you are on the Waialua UCC campus will be tolerated. If there is a dispute of any kind between you and a visitor to the event, ask a Waialua UCC representative for assistance.

    4. We do not guarantee exclusivity; other participants may sell similar products.

    a. Participant is SOLELY responsible for collecting/remitting/putting into practice that which may be required by law and the Department of Health. Waialua UCC is not responsible for advising you and will not be held responsible for guidance of that which may be required by law and the Department of Health for you as a participant at the Family Movie Night.

    5. If you serve food or pour drinks on site, the Waialua UCC team will do planned and random checks of your required documents. If you serve food or pour drinks on site, you MUST have a Special Events Permit, printed, and with you. Having it on your phone will not suffice for the DOH-you MUST have it, printed/hard copy with you for the event.

    6. If you prepare and package your food off-site, and do so in a non-commercial kitchen, you must add stickers to each packaged item stating the item was prepared in a non-commercial kitchen as per the DOH. In addition, please have a sign at your booth stating as such.

    7. If you prepare/serve food at the event, and have an open flame, you must have a fire extinguisher in your booth, as required by DOH and Waialua UCC.

    8. If the Department of Health closes your booth during the event, for any reason, you must discontinue any sales.

    9. Participant will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Waialua UCC, and any of its representatives, from any and all liability arising from bodily injury or property damage, incurred in connection with the Family Movie Night hosted by Waialua UCC.

    10. Participant spaces are approximately 12 X 12 and will accommodate the size of one pop-up tent with a little extra room. One (1) 8-foot-long folding table per participant is available upon request.

    11. For your best interest, and others, we require you to have weights for your tent, at all corners, in case of wind.

    12. Upon your arrival, you’ll receive your participant space. Participant spaces are assigned at the discretion of Waialua UCC.

    13. Please take all your trash with you when you leave. We ask that you treat our campus as if it is your own yard. Do not leave discarded trash of any kind. Do not place trash in our restrooms or in any receptacles on the campus.

    14. Please DO NOT pick fruit from our fruit trees. You will be asked to leave and not invited to return.

    15. Participants selling food may not have a pet, of any kind, in their booth as per DOH.

    16. Participants selling non-food items, ONLY service animal pets are permitted. They must be on leash at all times. If they make a mess, please clean it up.

    17. Any playing of music or voice amplification will be done solely by Waialua UCC and at an acceptable level determined by Waialua UCC.

    18. The following are prohibited: smoking, alcohol, petitions of any nature, profanity, abusive language or actions, fighting, auctioneering, biking, rollerblading, skateboarding, scooters, mood altering substances whether legal or illegal, and any and all items/clothing of political expression, fortune telling, and tarot cards.

    19. The following may not be sold: pornographic material, ammunition, any living thing besides plants, automobiles, motorcycles, blowguns, cigarettes, components for firearms, daggers, discount coupons, explosives, firearms of any kind, flammables, games of chance, gift certificates, grab bags, hash pipes, knives, prescription medicine, roach clips, swords, trucks, drug paraphernalia, illegal contraband, and items of political expression.

    20. Waialua UCC reserves the right at any time to restrict or prohibit certain additional items from being sold or distributed at Waialua UCC’s discretion.

    21. Waialua UCC, or any of its representatives, is not liable for theft or damage of any merchandise before, during, or after the event hours.

    22. Participants must allow unimpeded inspection by Waialua UCC at all times.

    23. Waialua UCC reserves the right to terminate the Participant agreement, for any reason, and at any time, deemed appropriate by the Waialua UCC Team and/or Waialua UCC Church Council.

    24. Upon violation of any part of this agreement, or any other behavior Waialua UCC deems inappropriate, Waialua UCC reserves the right to require a participant to leave the event and/or terminate the Participant Agreement with said participant.

    25. Waialua UCC may not provide or guarantee any warnings prior to requiring a participant to leave an event or terminating the Waialua UCC Participant Agreement with a participant.
