1. Privacy Statement
Under the Privacy Act, the information that OneOn Pty Ltd is collecting is for the purpose of providing accounting, taxation, and other related services to the client. This information may be disclosed to ATO; or other governing bodies required by the law. The general rule is that the Firm is bound by the Privacy Act and thus your personal details are not disclosed, unless I am required to do so. The International Federation of Accountants has issued a Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants. This is effective from Monday 7 September 2020. One of its requirements is that where a Professional Accountant finds Non- Compliance with Laws and Regulations (NOCLARS) s/he is required to report the breach to the relevant authority, tax office, ASIC, Police. Be aware that the Firm will report all instances of NOCLAR that it detects. Note that in 2.4 above the Firm does not undertake to look for errors, fraud etc. The clients are required to provide updated, true and correct information. If there are inconsistent in information or as a client, you have not provided us to perform the service clients are liable themselves. The tax agent role is to assist client to lodge returns on their behalf.
2. This engagement is ongoing until cancelled. The engagement is to assist with the preparation of the financial accounts and the preparation and lodgment of the taxation returns for the Group. This includes non-trading individual members of your family (individuals), as well as your trading entities (including individuals), corporate entities, partnerships, trusts and superannuation entities (entities).
3. The service fees will be decided upon the services and may varies if there is an additional work to us even there is agreed price. Our services fees are generally mentioned in our website, Oneon.com.au.
4. The clients are required to keep all the records for minimum 5 years. The Company will not check that you have complied with the substantiation provisions of the Income Tax Assessment Act. This means that the Company will not review: A motor vehicle logbook, Details in a rental property schedule, Home office usage worksheet, Motor vehicle expenses worksheet, Any other document supplied by a member of the Group.
5. Registered tax agents have limited areas to give advice to clients such as superannuation, financial advice etc.
6. CONFIRMATION OF ENGAGEMENT: There is a lot to consider. Do not hesitate to contact the Company if you want clarification of any matter. Once you are satisfied with the terms of the engagement, please sign and date both copies of this engagement letter where indicated. Keep one copy for your records and return the other to the Company as soon as possible. The Company cannot and will not perform any work for any member of the Group until it receives the signed engagement letter, the schedule of clients in the Group and the Deeds of Guarantee. 7. SCHEDULE OF CLIENTS: This schedule is an attachment to, and forms part of, the engagement letter between Client as above and and OneOn Pty Ltd, Tax Agent 25980183, (The Company).
10. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT: We, the parties named in the schedule, confirm that we understand and agree to your terms of engagement, and acknowledge our responsibilities as set out in the terms of engagement.
11. I/ We hereby appoint and authorize Tax Agent 25980183, to act as my/ our tax agent, and to lodge my/ our tax return(s) electronically or otherwise. I/ We further authorize Tax Agent 25980183 to deal with ATO on my/ our behalf.
12. Would you prefer Oneon Pty Ltd to communicate with ATO on behalf you even after other matter after lodgment for any problem or complex matter? If yes, there will be additional service fees may applicable. The fees will be advice each time for each matter.
