    Important Note: The amount of each award and the total number of recipients will vary based on available funding. 

    Application Timeline:

    •  Feb 1- Application Opens
    • April 1- Application Deadline- Submit all materials by 11:45 PM EST
    • April 2 – April 29- Applications Under Review 
    • April 30- Scholarship Receipents will be notified. 
    • Aug- Sept.- Disbursement of Funds to the instituttion 
  • If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

  • Bridge Pointe Foundation administers many scholarships designed to offer aid to students that represent unique characteristics. Please check each of the qualifiers below that apply to you. This data may increase your likelihood of qualifying for selected scholarships. Please note, if you are awarded a scholarship based on any of these qualifiers, you will be asked to produce documentation verifying your unique eligibility.

    Education is often described as a bridge between potential and opportunity. The Bridge Pointe Foundation exists to close gaps in access and empower students to persist, lead, and serve.

    In a well-developed essay (500–650 words), respond to the following:

    Describe a significant barrier or challenge you have faced in your educational journey. Analyze how this experience shaped your values, influenced your academic goals, and prepared you to contribute meaningfully to your college community and beyond.

    In your response, be sure to:

    • Explain the context and impact of the challenge, going beyond description to analyze what it revealed about your character and resilience.
    • Reflect on how this experience has influenced your understanding of equity, opportunity, or service.
    • Articulate your academic and career goals and explain how this scholarship will help you advance those goals.
    • Describe how you plan to use your education to give back to your community or address an issue that matters to you.
