  • CAIMUN Financial Aid Application

  • As CAIMUN’s mission is geared toward accessibility, our aim is to ensure that all individuals wishing to attend the conference can do so regardless of their financial circumstances. CAIMUN offers comprehensive financial aid in the form of need-based fee reductions. We are proud to have met and to continue to meet 100% of demonstrated need-based aid.

    Eligibility

    The following group of attendees are eligible for financial aid at CAIMUN:

    • Independent delegates and school delegates.

    • Any chaperones part of a school delegation attending CAIMUN.

    Independent chaperones are not eligible for CAIMUN’s financial aid program.

    Delegate Registration Fee Financial Aid

    Financial aid for delegates come in the form of fee reductions for the delegate registration fee.

    Each delegate must submit their own individual financial aid application. Applications submitted on behalf of an entire delegation will be automatically rejected. Delegates anticipating on attending CAIMUN with their school delegation must wait until after their school has registered for CAIMUN to submit their financial aid application. Independent delegates may submit at any time.

    Delegate financial aid is only applicable to the registration fees, not any additional costs or special requests such as lower occupancy rooming or additional room nights.

    Financial aid applicants are instructed to not submit the delegate registration form form until after they receive notice of a formal decision regarding their application.

    School Delegation Chaperone Room Financial Aid

    CAIMUN offers financial aid for school delegations in the form of fee reductions for the chaperone rooming fees.

    Only one (1) financial aid application for the chaperone rooming fees should be submitted per school delegation.

    A financial aid application for the chaperone rooming fees should only be submitted after a school has officially registered for CAIMUN. Schools must not submit the chaperone room booking form until after they receive a formal decision regarding their financial aid application.

  • School Staff Official Reference

  • In order for your application to be complete, CAIMUN requires a reference letter written and signed by a school staff official attesting to your need for financial aid. This may come from a principal, advisor, counselor, teacher, etc.

    Please submit the contact information of your preferred school official to submit this reference letter for you. The given school staff official will be automatically contacted with further instructions. Please ensure that the provided email of the school official contains a corporate, school-affiliated domain. Personal email addresses are subject to further review.
