FloX network survey

Following the Announcement of opportunity for FLEX cal/val by ESA: https://earth.esa.int/eogateway/announcement-of-opportunity/flex-cal-val.

We’re working on an ESA-funded initiative to develop a collaborative platform for processing and sharing FloX data, making it accessible and useful for the entire research community. The platform will provide SIF vegetation indices, radiance and reflectance products, all with associated uncertainty estimates for non-commercial use only. We conduct a short survey to ensure we meet the needs of potential users. Your input will help to shape the platform's features and services. The data products from the FloX and similar automated field spectrometer systems are processed and provided at different levels. Which level would be relevant for you?

Radiance (up-welling and down-welling).Reflectance.Higher products such as spectral vegetation indices (e.g. NDVI, PRI) and SIF.I would prefer having access to all data (from raw to radiance, reflectance, vegetation indices and SIF).

Which vegetation indices are most important to you as output from hyperspectral data?

Considering that the range of vegetation indices that can be computed is vast, we aim to focus on the most relevant ones. So far, the following indices are planned to be included: NDVI, PRI, MTCI, EVI, TCARI, REDCL, NIRv, FCVI. Do you have a specific spectral index that you consider essential and would like to see added as an output? Please specify.
