FloX network survey
  • International Network Sun-Induced chlorophyll Fluorescence (INSIF) Survey

  • Following the Announcement of opportunity for FLEX cal/val by ESA: https://earth.esa.int/eogateway/announcement-of-opportunity/flex-cal-val.

We’re working on an ESA-funded initiative to develop a collaborative platform for processing and sharing FloX data, making it accessible and useful for the entire research community. The platform will provide SIF vegetation indices, radiance and reflectance products, all with associated uncertainty estimates for non-commercial use only. We conduct a short survey to ensure we meet the needs of potential users. Your input will help to shape the platform's features and services. Please complete the survey within the next 30 days — your feedback is highly appreciated!

  • Are you working for:
  • What is your field of expertise?
  • Are you currently using field hyperspectral spectrometer data?
  • Do you plan to use hyperspectral field data?
  • Do you use hyperspectral time series from automated field spectrometers?
  • Have you ever tried to compare FloX ground data versus other products?
  • In the future, are you interested in using any of the following hyperspectral time series: down-welling radiance, up-welling radiance, reflectance, VI and SIF measured by other people?
  • Would you be interested to use it from an online portal?
  • What would be the relevant conditions for you in regards to sharing data?
  • The data products from the FloX and similar automated field spectrometer systems are processed and provided at different levels. Which level would be relevant for you?
  • Would you be interested in regular updates from the network and community, including latest campaigns and project activities, new site availability, latest publications from the network.
