VIP Area Access—Your media credential will allow you access to the VIP area, primarily for good viewing as it relates to coverage access. Food, beverages, and VIP parking is not included.
Hot pit area (Cranes and fueling) - Media requesting access to the crane area for P1 races must have an APBA membership for $65. You must show your membership card/receipt at media registration on site to receive a special armband and sign a waiver. You can register via this link: https://apba.tracksideapp.com/memberships
General Pits
Access to Boats Out On The Race Course - All media must be pre-approved by P1 race officials to board any boat out on the racecourse and must be received two weeks in advance.
Media helicopter - Please note we keep the airspace above the racecourse to a minimum number of aircraft. We may not be able to grant access if all the slots are taken. Pilots will be required to provide insurance, FAA information and must agree to comply with the flight guidelines for the race. Rescue helicopter takes priority over all helicopters.
Drones Must Be Pre-Approved To Fly – Requests must be received within three weeks of any race. Approval is not guaranteed, and drones in the pit area and over the racecourse must be pre-approved by Powerboat P1.
