  • Applications for this program can be submitted either by residents on their own behalf or by program directors on behalf of a group of eligible residents.

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

    This program is open to residents who meet the following eligibility:

    • A first- or second-year Family Medicine resident (both DO and MD Family Medicine residents are eligible).
    • Have not taken the osteopathic In-Service Exam within the last year.
    • Did not receive financial support from their program for the osteopathic In-Service Exam.

    Please note: To be eligible for this grant, residents must not receive financial support from their program for the osteopathic In-Service Exam. If your program offers financial support, please register for the In-Service Exam via ACOFP here.

  • REMINDERS:

    • There is no cost to residents or your residency program. 
    • After submitting this form, ACOFP will review the submission and contact you within 1-2 business days with confirmation.
    • The exam window takes place October 1 – 15, 2025, via smartphone, tablet, or computer/laptop on the CATALYST platform and consists of 265 questions, 75 of which are OPP/OMM related.
    • Assessments delivered on the CATALYST platform provide both immediate performance feedback and educational resources for the concept being assessed.
    • This is an un-proctored test, taken anywhere/anytime within the exam window. The exam is self-paced.
    • Residents may answer test items immediately, or on their own schedule, but must complete within the two week allotted time. Items time out after 2 minutes.
