Welcome to the Arlington Thrive application for financial assistance.
Financial assistance is available through our Federal Worker Resilience Fund. Funds open on the 10th or first weekday after the 10th, and are given on a first-come, first-served basis until they run out for that month. We can assist with up to $750 of your bill. Applications are reviewed according to the requirements listed below.
FWRF Needs Assisted:
● Rent and Security Deposits
● Utilities
● Moving expenses
● Grocery/Health Supplies Assistance
● Medical expenses including prescriptions
● Dental expenses
● Vision exams / Eyeglasses (contacts not included, frames covered up to $100)
FWRF Eligibility Requirements:
● Clients must be Arlington residents
● Clients must be former or furloughed federal government employees whose jobs were affected by recent policy changes. They may not be in any paid status (such as paid admin leave) as of the time of their application. Those who were federal contractors or worked for a federal contractor may apply, and must provide additional proof of separation related to decrease in federal grant and/or contract
- Must be comfortable providing documentation such as lease, bank statements, rental ledger, utility or medical bills, ID/Passport, or any other documentation needed to determine eligibility. See more information here.
