Welcome to the Arlington Thrive application for financial assistance.
Financial assistance is available through our Federal Workers Resilience Fund, providing emergency assistance funds to former federal workers and currently furloughed federal workers experiencing unexpected job loss due to changing federal policies. Applications are reviewed according to the requirements listed below.
FWRF Needs Assisted:
● Rent and Security Deposits
● Utilities
● Moving expenses
● Grocery/Health Supplies Assistance
● Medical expenses including prescriptions
● Dental expenses
● Vision exams / Eyeglasses (contacts not included, frames covered up to $100)
FWRF Eligibility Requirements:
● Clients must be Arlington residents
● Clients must be former or furloughed federal government employees whose jobs were affected by recent policy changes. They may not be in any paid status (such as paid admin leave) as of the time of their application.
- Must be comfortable providing documentation such as lease, bank statements, rental ledger, utility or medical bills, ID/Passport, or any other documentation needed to determine eligibility. See more information here.
