  • Neighborhood Homework House's time at Foothill Community Church has come to an end, and we’re excited to announce that we are moving back into an Azusa neighborhood! In August 2025, NHH will be relocating our operations to the former location of Center Middle School—thanks to the generous partnership with the Azusa Unified School District (AUSD).

    This move represents an incredible opportunity for NHH to continue strengthening our impact on the families we serve while deepening our connection with the Azusa community. 

    With the move to this new location NHH has the opportunity to:

    1. Establish a new homebase in the heart of an Azusa neighborhood desiring more resources for their children.
    2. Accept more students from our waitlist, engage more families, and have a larger impact.
    3. Become an anchor organization at the AUSD’s new Azusa Community Resource Center.

  • MOVE DAY

    What:  NHH hired professional movers, so we realistically we are looking for 4-6 extra volunteers who wouldn't mind helping us load boxes and furtinure into the truck. And then unload them into the classrooms in our new homebase at Center Middle School.

    Who:  Volunteers who feel up to carrying heavy boxes and moving around large awkard shaped furniture, although the professional movers will take care of the extra heavy stuff.

    Date:  Friday, Sept 19th

    Time:  9a-1p

    Starting Location (9a-11a):  NHH's offices at Foothill Community Church

  • BUILD DAY

    What:  NHH is hosting a day to build out all the new furinture that we have purchased to make our new homebase a second home for all of our students and families.  We would love to have 10-12 voluneers come and help us build everything!

    Who:  Volunteers who are great at following written/diagram instructions.  Do you like putting together complex Lego sets or don't feel any stress building Ikea furniture...they you are the PERFECT volunteer.

    Date:  Saturday, Sept 27th

    Time:  9a-1p
