Volunteering with Adelaide Equestrian Festival is a flexible and rewarding experience. With a range of shifts available across weekdays and the weekend, you can find opportunities that suit your schedule—all while being part of one of the largest equestrian sports event in the Southern Hemisphere.
To be part of the Adelaide Equestrian Festival team, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older OR
- Have permission or be accommpanied by parent and/or guardian if younger than 18 years of age.
- Be flexible, reliable, and ready to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Complete our volunteer induction/onboarding.
- Be willing to embrace and uphold the Adelaide Equestrian Festival values.
As an Adelaide Equestrian Festival volunteer, you’ll have the chance to get involved across a wide range of Festival and Competition activations around the festival hub in Victoria Park and across the Adelaide Park Lands.
- Front of House Support
- Ticket Scanning
- Wayfinding & Information Sharing
- Jump Painting and Refurbishment
- Horse Marshalling
- Arena Set Up and Pack Down
- Competition Support
Volunteers are provided a commemorative pin and a hat as a keepsake plus refreshments and lunch depending on the shift they select and the duration they are volunteering for.
