Survey for Parents & Guardians of 16-24 year olds considering their career options
  • Survey for Parents & Guardians of 16-24 year olds considering their career options

Please take a few minutes to complete this survey.
  • The purpose of this survey is to gather information to design an online course to support

16-24 year olds who aren't sure that University is the right path for them and help guide them in their first steps applying for jobs or apprenticeships.

The topics that we would be looking to cover include:

    1. Understanding your individual strengths and skills
    2. Knowing what is important to you, your values, motivations, aspirations as well as what you don't enjoy doing (so you can choose career choices that will suit you best)
    3. Understanding the current job market and how/where to apply for jobs or    apprenticeships
    4. Understanding what Employers look for to help with applications
    5. Understanding what transferrable skills are and which relevant ones you possess

By the end of the online course, each participant will:

    • KNOW what their options are
    • Which path may suit them best
    • It will give them clarity, knowledge and an idea of what to do next

There are only 20 questions to this survey and should only take about 5 minutes.
